Wedding Congratulations

Hello everyone, another beautiful morning in Southern Cali and my fingures are crossed for the I was hoping that with their fallen comrad Nick Adenhart #34 they would rip into the Yankees,.... no such luck, but they have one more chance today... I have my figures crossed :) But on to my latest creation... I haven't made much wedding cards so I thought I'd give it a try. I decided to use the Easel card sketch for this one.

I wanted to go for a non-traditional wedding card that had a splash of color instead. I used the Baroque set from SU!and used a clear embossing powder for the design to pop. I followed with the Boho flower punch and added a dot of Summer sun stampin' write marker on the flower.

Next I wanted to add another element once you prop the card open. I used the Congrats set with the the wedding saying to bring the card together. For the Congratulations I used one of the rubber stamps for the Always set.

And here's the finished result. To prop the card at an easel pose I used a yellow rhinestone brad to give it a little extra bling. I think it came out quite nice. I hope you like it and enjoy the reat of your week. Tooddles
